Dance 101

Dance is an art form that helps students express an idea or emotion through physical movement. In this class, students will focus on placement, technique, coordination, grace, balance, flexibility, strength and more. In this class students will learn new hip hop dances and skills!

(1) What is the time and date of the class?
This class takes place on SATURDAYS starting on 1/10/2026 from 10am-11am. 

(2) Where are the classes located?
Class is held at The Becoming Center located at 3249 N Kilpatrick Ave, Chicago, IL 60641.

(3) How do I know if I or my child are registered?
Upon registration, you will receive an email confirming your registration.  Please contact us at becomingcenter@chicagotabernacle.org if you have any questions.

(4) Is there a cost associated with this class?
Yes; all Becoming Center programming includes a $10 non-refundable registration fee. Please contact us directly should you have any concerns or want to pay in cash.
