The Treehouse Volunteer Application
Hi! Welcome to our kids ministry for ages 0-5! We are so excited that you are interested in joining our team. God is moving in powerful, lasting ways in our children, and we are so thankful that you want to serve alongside us. Our mission and values are below. These provide a foundation and direction for our entire ministry, and we hope you prayerfully adopt them as you serve.
Treehouse Mission Statement
Our mission is to raise up the next Spirit-filled generation who will change the world.
We value
* The Word of God, we read God’s Word daily, allow it to transform our lives, and teach our children to love and follow it.
* Worship: We connect our hearts to God in worship and invite the Holy Spirit to fill us with His presence and power.
* Prayer: We model and inspire a prayerful life so that our children will become mighty prayer warriors who experience the supernatural power of God.
* Fun: We create a happy, engaging environment so our children will ove coming to church!
* Friendship: We love, grow, learn and play together.
Treehouse Ministry Roles
Babies (Ages 0-24 months)
The main responsibility of a volunteer with the babies is to love and nurture our infants and babies. We play with them, feed them, change diapers and sing simple worship songs as we introduce our little ones to the love of God. (Please note: you must be at least 18 years old and a female to serve in this team.)
Toddlers (Ages 2-3)
The main responsibility of a volunteer with the toddlers is to love and nurture our children. Throughout the service, the volunteer will support children within play, Bible story time, worship, prayer, snack, and craft time.
Preschool (Ages 4-5)
The main responsibility of a volunteer with the preschoolers is to love and nurture our children. Throughout the service, the volunteer will support children within play, Bible story time, worship, prayer, snack, and craft time.
Special Mission (Special Needs Children)
The main responsibility of a volunteer with special needs children is to love and nurture our children. Throughout the service, the volunteer will support children within play, Bible story time, worship, prayer, snack, and craft time.
Commitment:
We ask that volunteers commit to serving during one service each week on Sundays or bi-weekly on Tuesdays for a minimum of one year. Please fill out the following information and a member of our team will contact you. Thanks so much!
